Rest and self-care are crucial for maintaining stable mental health and overall well-being. Taking time to recharge, relax and reduce stress leads to a greater sense of balance in our lives.
Join us for an interactive workshop and uncover the importance of rest and self-care.
Our guest is Hazel Owens, MDiv., LMFT. Hazel is a licensed marriage and family therapist associate and owner of Owens Counseling & Consulting Services LLC.
You will:
- Identify signs self-care and soul care is needed
- Engage in self-care and sacred soul care practices
- Explore ways to get more rest in your daily routine
Admission is free. Run With Wine Inc. is providing lunch and plant-based nutrition education, and The Centers of Wellness for Urban Women will be leading yoga and sound baths. Kids 5 and up will be taken care of! They'll be doing guided art activities to boost their self-esteem while you take time for yourself.
Everyone is welcome.
