Take Your Dog Out with Confidence: “Petiquette” Public Training Program
Come join us at Checkerspot Brewing Company to learn the essential skills and etiquette for enjoying pet-friendly public spaces with your dog. Fieldstone Animal Inn's program focuses on polite behavior, safety, and stress-free outings. They teach dogs to stay calm, responsiveness, and how to be unobtrusive in busy environments—like restaurants, cafes, and shops.
Key skills include:
- Proper leash use (no retractables!)
- Respectful behavior around people and dogs
- “Under” command to stay out of aisles
- Controlled walking and waiting
- Understanding your dog’s stress signals
Fieldstone Animal Inn are positive reinforcement trainers. This program empowers dog owners to enjoy more freedom while being responsible ambassadors for dogs in public.
We recommend that attendees bring their dogs’ favorite treats to class (we will also have extras).
