Do you just wanna do something fun and creative after spending all day in a drab cubicle?


Welcome to your first step in stand-up comedy!

We offer a fun, positive and supportive stand-up comedy class for beginners to explore their sense of humor while growing confidence and improving public speaking skills.

Originally called “Caroline’s Comedy School” – we’ve been teaching comedy classes for over fifteen years and know how to turn you into the funniest version of yourself possible.

July 2024 Sunday Class Now Enrolling

The class you are purchasing a ticket for meets on six consecutive Sundays: July 14, July 21, July 28, Aug 4, Aug 11 and Aug 18.

There will be a comedy class show on Sunday August 25th in the afternoon at St Marks Comedy Club.

Classes meet from 11:30am until 2:00pm in a nice rehearsal studio near Lincoln Center (west 65th street between Broadway and Central Park West)

Class is limited to 12 students to ensure individual attention.

Who is the comedy class instructor?

Ben Rosenfeld is a fifteen year stand-up comedy veteran with numerous TV appearances, five comedy albums and millions of social media views. Ben has been teaching stand-up comedy since 2020 including at Caroline’s School of Comedy. Ben does private comedy coaching and corporate speech punch-up.

What is the history of NYC Comedy Class?

We’ve been teaching stand-up comedy for over twenty years. We originally started as “Caroline’s Comedy School” but have since evolved into an independent comedy school teaching stand-up comedy classes in New York City. Currently, our classes meet on Manhattan’s Upper West Side near Lincoln Center.
