Having traversed the globe in her childhood, Sun Yoga founder Michele Lowchinovscy Santos discovered her spiritual home in Hawaii during her time at Hawaii Pacific University. After earning a Psychology degree, Michele devoted seven years to mental health therapy for children with special needs on Oahu, where her bond with her first client, Grace, ignited her journey into yoga. Despite Grace's diagnosis of Rett Syndrome, her resilience and love inspired Michele to explore yoga as a healing practice. Gifted a hot yoga package by Grace's family, Michele found her calling and transitioned from psychology to teaching yoga. Driven by her passion for fostering connections and inspired by Grace's strength, Michele embraced her destiny to share the transformative power of yoga with others.
