Tailwind for Tools Open House

The Recyclery Collective is an educational bike shop that promotes sustainability by giving access to tools, skills, and opportunities for collaboration.We envision a diverse, resilient neighborhood filled with knowledgeable, self-reliant cyclists.The Recyclery is a 501c3 non-profit. All major decisions are made by a quorum of collective members at a twice-a-month meeting. Decisions are made by consensus and the collective is open to anyone willing to put in the time and effort to fulfill collective entry requirements. A few staff members are paid for administrative tasks, fixing bikes for sale, and teaching classes. Regular volunteers fix bikes that we give away and help during Open Shop.

The Recyclery

Our 4th Annual Tailwind For Tools fundraising campaign culminates in an Open House finale is on Valentine’s Day weekend (‘cause we love our Recyclery friends.) We are bringing back the Alley Kitten Race, the Funky Bike Photobooth, DIY screen printing, and adding more fun activities for all ages. Suggested donation is $20. No one will be turned away for want of funds. We are excited about this very much needed tailwind. Give us a push! Share this with everyone you know! Use the #TailwindForTools on social media!

Bring your own garment. We’ve got Recyclery screens and ink.
 
◈ Upcycled Tube Crafts and Jewelry Making 2:00 PM - 4:45 PM
 Use bike parts to make earrings and more!
