Join Riverbend's Educators for this annual rite of spring that happens right here at Riverbend. Learn about the lifecycle of the amphibians that live at the preserve and see the tadpoles in action. This fun event is open to individuals and to families with children of all ages.

Guests will explore the preserve and visit activity stations to learn all about frogs. Guests are encouraged to visit at their own pace and stay as long as they wish.

This event is rain or shine so dress for the weather!

What are Riverbend's trails like?

Riverbend has a variety of trails. Some paths are paved, but most trails are dirt or stone covered. Riverbend is located on a hill so there are many sections of trails on an incline.

Are there public bathrooms?

Riverbend has two public bathrooms and a drinking fountain located in our Snider Barn.

Is this a free event?

This is a Riverbend PAY WHAT YOU WISH Event. The true cost to Riverbend to offer this event is $10 per person. We recognize that for some families this is unaffordable. Therefore, we invite you to choose the price you wish to pay for this event.
