The Real-Time Communications (RTC) Lab at the Illinois Institute of Technology (Illinois Tech) isa unique venue in which industry and academia connect and collaborate. The lab is aneducational facility dedicated to teaching, research and development activities that further theadvancement of networked communications. We welcome projects from partners in industryand academia.

Kaplan Institute

For the 6th year running, <a href="https://tadhack.com/2019/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TADHack Global 2019</a> will be the largest telecom focused hackathon in the world. This Fall, the Chicago location will run over the 12th – 13th October (Saturday-Sunday), and will be one of 10 - 15 locations running in parallel around the world.The <a href="https://appliedtech.iit.edu/rtc-lab" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Real-Time Communications Lab</a> at Illinois Institute of Technology has been proud to partner with TADHack Global beginning with the inaugural event in June, 2014. This year, we're excited to be moving into the beautiful new <a href="https://web.iit.edu/kaplan-institute/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kaplan Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship</a> on IIT's Main Campus. With a focus on innovative thinking and transitioning new ideas into products and processes, Kaplan is the perfect venue for TADHack, and we’re expecting another record crowd this Fall. As a result, we advise early registration in anticipation of a capacity crowd. TADHack Global has been scheduled this year to coincide with the Fifteenth Annual <a href="http://www.rtc-conference.com/2019/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">IIT RTC Conference</a> , and the Inaugurural <a href="http://www.tadsummit.com/2019/americas/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TADSumit Americas</a> , which will be co-located in Hermann Hall immediately following on October 14-16, so it should be an exciting week in Chicago, filled with the latest innovations in real-time communications.Whether you’re a hacker, hustler or hipster (developer, business-type or designer); <a href="http://blog.tadhack.com/2015/05/07/tadhack-everyone/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TADHack is for Everyone!</a> . You’ll learn about adding programmable telecoms to your apps, services or business; be able to share your experiences with others; do some “coding”; and potentially create a winning hack that makes a difference in your community.
