Saint John's in the Village

You are invited to the opening of Greenwich Village's newest gallery space. Tabula Rasa is an evening of conversation, refreshments, and live music, in a newly created small gallery space in the West Village: an initiative of St John's in the Village. St John's is a major home of the arts in the West Village, with an active theatre and two or three high-quality concerts (from classical to jazz) every week, in addition to its professional choir and children's music pedagogy courses. St John's now aims to be a patron of the visual arts in order to allow local artists the chance to exhibit without incurring the fees and deals imposed by commercial galleries. The new space opens with NO ART ON THE WALLS (hence the name of the event) so that artists and others can see with their mind's eye how they might relate to it.
The event is free, but spaces are limited, and registration is essential.
NB: Do not enter via the Church on W 11th St. Enter at 224 Waverly Place.
