Carolina de' Castiglioni(Writer and Actor) graduated with Honors from New York University with a BFA in Acting and a BA in Philosophy. As an actor and an immigrant, she is primarily interested in exploring the dichotomy between adapting to new cultures and preserving one's identity. Other themes that inspire her works are internal contradictions in human psychology, the difficulties of a mother-daughter's relationship and sexual assault. After writing a couple short films, all nominated by various Film Festivals, such as Miami Independent Film Festival and Lift-Off Global Network, she decided to create Sýrma.Federica Borlenghi(Director) graduated from the College of Performing Arts - The New School for Drama, with a BFA in Dramatic Arts with focus on Directing and Playwriting. She is fascinated by the idea of bringing stories to life for the first time and closely collaborate with their creators to represent their ideas as accurately as possible.  Federica is also the Co-Founder and Creative Producer of HERE WE GO, a site specific live performance Festival, whose mission is to provide early career NYC based artists with an opportunity to develop and showcase their creativity and multi-disciplinary talents.
