Description

As Yuval Noah Harari said “in the future… you will need to do more than merely invent new ideas and products, but above all, reinvent yourself again and again.”

We live in extraordinary times.

An age of great disruption; but also great distraction.

What future skills, values or attributes will be important in the workplace and our communities in 2030?

In our next Symposium #4: Borders, we’ll explore that notion and more with
Hefen Wong (Deputy Director at Co-Lab at Ministry of Manpower), Joseph Louis Tan (AVP/ Employee Journey Design Coach at DBS Bank) and Jonathan Carl Wong (Community Manager @ The Bridge). Keeping a sense of perspective, together we’ll discuss:

  • Disruptions in the future of work; important tensions that exist in companies; fundamental changes in leadership and why we need to inculcate better employee development practices to nurture and instil lifelong learning

  • Rethinking the role of co-working spaces, humanising the recruitment process and unravel important attitudes, ideas and values that will shape our harmony of work, home and self

Come join us for an afternoon of bold questions, stimulating discussions, personal stories and good company - as we explore the borders of our minds and push the boundaries of our work together with our speakers and audiences.
