The SC Jazz Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was created to support the Jazz Masterworks Ensemble and to build a network of support for jazz and jazz education in South Carolina. We are pleased to present concerts that feature notable jazz musicians from across the globe.

Louis Armstrong said, “If you have to ask what jazz is, you’ll never know.” This season, the SC Jazz Masterworks Ensemble is gearing up to let the music give you the ANSWERS.

THE ANSWER TO A VERY MERRY BIG BAND CELEBRATION! The SC Jazz Masterworks Ensemble will make your holidays bright with a collection of classic holiday jazz presented with some big band energy and swingin’ sleigh bells. This concert is a collaboration with USC JAZZ. This program is supported in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission which is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts and collaborates in its work with the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies and South Arts.

The SC Jazz Masterworks Ensemble, is comprised of eighteen of the finest jazz musicians, soloists, and bandleaders from across the Carolinas and its mission is to present jazz concerts at the highest artistic level. With this many amazing musicians, the musical possibilities are almost unlimited. GET YOUR TICKETS TODAY!
