Hunt Country Music Festival

Middleburg Concert Series presents a three day music festival packed with topnotch musicians and a variety of genres to delight music lovers, including classical chamber groups, Argentine tango instrumentalists, organ, brass, strings, piano, and voice.

<p>Swing Shift, a 16-piece big band led by Matt Trimboli, will perform classic swing tunes from the 1930&#x27;s and &#x27;40s.  Swing Shift originally formed as an amalgamation of musicians from several area bands, including the Bob Louis Big Band, the Kingsmen, Bifocals, Central Heat, the Redskins Band, and the Post-Nuclear Jazz Society.  They have appeared at the Corcoran Art Gallery, the Kennedy Center, and the Washington HIlton, and have a regular gig at Blues Alley, Washington D.C.&#x27;s premier jazz club.  Instruments are saxophones, trumpets, trombones, guitar, piano, double bass and drums.  There will be opportunities for the audience to kick up their heels and dance!  Starting at 3PM and after the concert, there will be a cash wine bar and delicious food for sale.  Sponsored by Chris Malone Realty of the Plains, Va.</p>
