Get ready for a jam-packed lineup of activities to commemorate the end of WWII. There is fun for the whole family, including children’s entertainment, local produce stalls, live music from talented local artists, a nostalgic Vintage Tea Party and Tea Dance, a lively community picnic, games, competitions, The Big-Help Out, and a friendly village cricket match!

Don’t forget to enter our raffle for a chance to win fantastic prizes, generously donated by local businesses and organisations - see the T&C's for more details!

Your event ticket gives you access to the full weekend of festivities—come celebrate, connect, and make lasting memories!

All funds raised will help cover the costs of the event, with any additional profits going towards enhancing local leisure facilities for the community.

Frequently asked questions

What about Parking?

Parking in the village is limited, so we encourage everyone to walk, carpool, or take public transport if they can! For those driving, parking is available at the tennis courts or at Six Acres.

How do I enter the Village Bake Off?

Got a knack for baking? Entries for the Bake Off must be pre-registered! We’re on the hunt for the best Victoria Sponge or Chocolate Cake in the village. For all the details on how to enter, just drop us an email at: marinahamilton@ws-pc.org.uk

How do I enter the dog competition?

If you would like to enter your hound for the prettiest pooch comp or the best recall, just turn up on the day. Dogs must be under control at all times and it goes without saying that owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets!

Entry to the event.

You will require a wrist band on the event weekend. Show your ticket at the Six Bells, St Lawrences Hall or Aisha Stores to collect your band, or ask any of the stalls on the day.

Where can I get my raffle tickets?

Raffle tickets go on sale from June 1st! You can grab yours in advance from Aisha Stores, The Six Bells, or by emailing MarinaHamilton@ws-pc.org.uk. Throughout the event weekend, tickets will also be available at Aisha Stores, The Six Bells, and at any of the stalls on-site.
