JOIN US FOR A FAMILY-FRIENDLY BEACH PARTY ON FORT MYERS BEACH! In the wake of Hurricane Ian, there is still mass destruction in FMB and the area is slowly recovering. Tourism has obviously been difficult, so we are bringing our annual beach bash back to FMB to support the local businesses and residents.
- We will have a beach party Saturday from 9am-4pm
- and an evening get-together (with a charity raffle to benefit FMB) at Nervous Nellie's starting at 7pm (details to be determined).
FREE EVENT! BRING YOUR OWN BEACH/TAILGATE SET-UP, FOOD & DRINKS.
NOTE: We are NOT catering for this event. We will have basic snacks to share, but please bring your own food and drinks. Be mindful of the beach's alcohol policy. Please ask a club admin if you have questions.
PARKING: Try to get to the beach early. There are several parking lots for about $20/day throughout the beach area. Carpooling and ridesharing is recommended.
HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS: Book on your own. We have a member working on a group rate with Hilton, but info to come. Local airport is RSW.
RULES:
- NO GLASS.
- Dogs are allowed - please clean up after them!
- NO fires.
- It is sea-turtle nesting season. Please respect turtle nests and all other wildlife we may encounter.
- NO littering - we MUST completely clean up after ourselves.
