Swedish Beginner 1A, August 2024 (Virtual)

In this class we start learning Swedish and the focus is on basic pronunciation, grammar, and simple communication in typical everyday situations. Students will also be introduced to the cultural aspects of Swedish society.

The Beginner classes at SSCC are suitable for people with no, or very little, prior knowledge of the language. As we start with basic grammar and move forward quickly, a beginner-class can also be a good start for people with receptive bilingualism, who have lived with the language but not spoken it actively.

Course material: Rivstart A1+ A2 and Form i Fokus A. Books can be purchased online or at the Scandinavian School. Other materials will be provided in class.

All sales are final. Students can be transferred between different levels if needed, but refunds are not offered.
