It is an interior design game where participants race against the clock to create a unique design from the ground up based upon a specific design challenge prompt. The participants are tasked with producing a design board that will be evaluated by a panel of judges. https://idslasvegas.com/swatched
The event will be held at the World Market Center - Building B, Floor 16. Venue: Worldview in Sixteen.
Yes! We support our design student community and we will offer discount codes to Interior Design students that are IDS Las Vegas members, applicable to general admission and competition entries. IDS Student Memberships are complimentary. Request more information via email at idsvegaslv@gmail.com

There will be access to the World Market Center parking garage which is complimentary and there will also be valet parking accessible from Grand Central Parkway.
Swatched is a party, design competition and a fundraiser for the Las Vegas Chapter. IDS has proudly partnered with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation and will be holding a silent auction during the event on Sep. 19, 2024. 100% of the silent auction proceeds will be granted to NVCCF!
Anyone can participate to show their design skills. We will consider having a specific category for design enthusiasts that are not Interior Designers as we see fit.
There will be three main categories: Single Designer, Designer Duos and Students.
The winning designs will win amazing cash prizes and bragging rights! There will be one winner per each category and one Best of Show Winner. Award amounts are TBD.
The General Admission ticket covers your entry to the main event that starts at 6:00pm as well as food and drinks. To participate in the competition you must select the "add-on" for the category you wish to participate on. The VIP Pre-event is also a separate admission fee add-on.
