Will you give lettering demonstrations using pencil and paper?

Accepted Answer

Although my preferred tools for sketching are tracing paper and pencil, I will conduct lettering demonstrations using Procreate on an iPad for the sake of convenience and clarity. However, the concepts and techniques presented in this workshop apply to both analog and digital drawing methods.

Will you give software instruction on how to use the Procreate app?

Accepted Answer

This workshop focuses on the foundational concepts at the root of swash letterforms, and the essential drawing techniques necessary to create them. With that aim in mind, no detailed software instruction on how to use the Procreate app will be given.

Will I learn how to vectorize script lettering in this workshop?

Accepted Answer

Because this workshop concentrates on hands-on drawing techniques, no vectorizing instruction will be given.

Can I still register to watch the workshop recording if I can't attend the live online meeting?

Accepted Answer

Yes! When you sign up for the workshop, you'll receive a Zoom link to the video recording by May 13, 2024. You are free to watch the recording as many times as you like before the link expires on July 1, 2024.

You'll have permission to view the recording as many times as you like before the link expires on July 1, 2024.

How can I watch the video recording of the workshop?

Accepted Answer

To view the recording, you'll need to log in to Zoom using the email address that you used to register for the workshop. Or, you'll need to provide the email address associated with your Zoom account. You can watch the recording as often as you like before the link expires on July 1, 2024.
