SW2 Conference

SW2con is a conference devoted to the next wave of software development.

Over fourteen years ago, we started the highly successful conference, GlueCon. At that time, APIs were in their earliest incarnations and cloud computing was just getting started. Now, APIs and the cloud have exploded into industries that are the foundational elements of the software ecosystem. As those technologies continue to mature, deepen and advance, the new tools emerging around AI have clearly started to become key components of software development.

We believe that we are at the very beginning of the next wave of software development. This wave will build on the foundations of the cloud, and boldly move forward into the rapidly advancing toolsets, infrastructure and operations powered by artificial intelligence.

SW2con is a conference dedicated to the full spectrum of this emerging software development wave. This includes WASM, containers, observability, APIs, DevOps and the deepening initiatives around cloud computing. In addition, we’ll explore AI Co-pilots and code assists and agents, vector databases, AIops, infrastructure and synthetic data requirements of AI development, and the entire LLM ecosystem.

If you’re tired of sales pitches disguised as talks, sessions that never do more than scratch the surface, throngs of people that seem more concerned with the after-parties than the education, and networking that has no lasting impact, then SW2con is for you.

SW2con is hand-crafted by the husband and wife team of Kim and Eric Norlin.

Registrations & Badges: All fields marked with an * are REQUIRED when registering. No "place holder" registrations will be accepted. Place holder registrations will be cancelled.

Registrations & Badges are non-transferable past the date listed under the cancellation policies.

On-site badge sharing is not permitted.

Super Early Bird Registrations:

No refunds will be offered on this registration type. You can choose a credit towards SW2 Conference 2025 -OR- transfer your registration to someone else.

Early Bird Registrations:

Before April 5th, 2024 - Full refund (less $100 service fee)

After April 5th, 2024 - You can choose a credit towards SW2 Conference 2025 -OR- transfer your registration to someone else.

Full Price Registrations:

Before April 15, 2024 - Full refund (less $100 service fee)

After April 15, 2024 - You can choose a credit towards SW2 Conference 2025 -OR- transfer your registration to someone else.

No refunds will be offered after April 15, 2024

In the event that SW2 Conference 2024 has to be rescheduled due to a pandemic emergence (or a force majure event), all registrations will automatically transfer to the SW2 Conference 2025 dates. No refunds will be offered.

SW2 Conference assumes no liability for the transmission of COVID-19 at this event. We will take safety measures in accordance with any current local and state guidelines.
