Description

Join us for a visit to St. Vrain Valley and see our iPad 1:1 program and the Learning Technology Plan in action. During this event, you'll have the chance to hear from school and district leadership, visit 1:1 classrooms at Niwot High School, and talk to students and teachers about the impact of 1:1 technology on teaching and learning.

Niwot High School is an internationally recognized IB program with an emphasis on challenging students through inquiry and reflection. Led by Eric Rauschkolb, 2017 Colorado Secondary Principal of the Year, the school's focus on student success is evident in every aspect of their program. Niwot High School is in their second year of 1:1 implementation.

9:30 Leading a Learning Technology implementation: Joe McBreen, CTO, and Michelle Bourgeois, Director of Learning Technology

10:00 Overview of NHS and classroom visits

12:00 Mobility, Leadership, and Learning presentation: Sue Meyers, Apple Inc. Digital learning experiences and mobile devices are changing the education landscape. During this session, we’ll discuss strategies for leading your organization through this transition to create new learning and teaching opportunities. You’ll explore the role of visionary leadership in supporting school transformation and see how new learning resources support emerging trends in education.
