Back in 1954, a football mad student at Sutton High School, Alan Woodiwiss, decided to create a football team. Seventy years later - with plenty of ups and downs and a deserved MBE for Alan - the club is still going strong, such a rarity for a grassroots club in a time of a cost of living crisis, and rising prices for football pitches and more. Sadly Alan is no longer with us, but he’s here in spirit as we celebrate 70 years at a special event on June 1st.
This event will be one HUGE Celebration, as we enjoy everything Sutton High FC and more... with live music by Unshackled. We will be hosting a Huge Prize Raffle that we are excited to annouce we will be fundraising with the Max the Brave Fund.
