A 5-Session Experiential Workshop with Susan Brooks

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Boomers! As the longest living generation in history, Boomers are the first to experience a longer and more robust lifespan. They are trailblazers, modern seniors disrupting stereotypes as they are redefining their identity after retirement, staying active, and contributing to others using their hard-won wisdom. This highly interactive and experiential five-session workshop, led by Cookies from Home founder Susan Brooks, is a gathering place for curious, creative, courageous seniors asking, “Now what?” Backed by research showing that a positive mindset about aging can add over seven joyful years to your life, this program will help you reconnect with your Authentic Self—and what’s possible next.

Together, attendees will explore thought-provoking topics like:

  • Who are you now?
  • How do you reframe a lifetime of experience into a new identity?
  • What are your priorities moving forward?
  • How do you update your new look?
  • How do you grow whole instead of simply growing old?

This five-week journey is for modern seniors ready to build confidence, embrace uncertainty, and cultivate a beginner’s mind. Join us!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

After 30 years, Susan Brooks and her husband of 58 years, sold Cookies from Home in 2010. Susan thought she had retired, but soon realized she needed to redefine her identity and, more importantly, her purpose. It was an uncomfortable and challenging period. Retirement sounded like a long beach vacation, and she wanted much more than that. Who was she now, without the title, the to-do lists, and the whirlwind of entrepreneurship. In the spirit of reinvention and knowing she was a life-long learner, she discovered a plethora of thought-provoking content that continues to guide her life today. That’s when she realized she wasn’t done. She was simply shifting lanes.
