Its fees are based on a sliding scale according to the client’s income. The Refuge Center’s mission is to empower, educate and support individuals, couples and families in need.

Our 2018 “Live Intentionally” Speaker Series is titled “Surviving The Storm: Living Intentionally and Leaning into Transformation When Life is Hard With Speaker Jan Harrison”.
How do you walk a path you've never been on before? How do you withstand a storm that threatens to wipe out your family and ruin your dreams? How do you keep from becoming wrecked by the uncertainties and disruptions in life? Jan Harrison’s dramatic disruption was the sudden death of her 27-year-old son. Yours may be a diagnosis, an addiction, an accident, or a disability. It could be abandonment, rejection, divorce, infertility, or the loss of a job creating both physical and emotional insecurity. Because of these situations, many of us feel as though we are adrift at sea with no compass or purpose other than survival.
This speaker series will be presented FREE for our community with mini sessions following Jan Harrison focusing on the physical, emotional, financial and spiritual aspects of dealing with loss in all its forms. Advance registration is required. Doors open at 8:30am. A light breakfast will be served. The event concludes before 12:00 pm.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, all ages welcome. But, due to the subject matter, please refrain from bringing small children to this event to minimize distractions.  
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Ample parking is located all around the Enrichment Center, Williamson County Library and street parking is available.
