Welcome to Surviving the Cost-of-Living Crisis for Young Adults!

How can you be better supported in navigating the challenges of housing crisis, increase of living costs and other issues a young adult face.

Join us for a 6-week program from Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 4:00 PM for weekly in-person sessions where we will have an interactive space to share and discuss the prevailing issues of these times. Nick and Rani will facilitate the space in a co- design manner to work with you , not for you, to unpack the challenges you are experiencing as a young person. We feel together we can lighten the burden of these times together, on a physical, emotional, mental and practical level, through varying tools, such as political advocacy, art therapy, financial counselling, low-cost recipes and cooking, along with supporting being renter ready and empowered to live independently.

The Initial week will be an interactive space to hear your voices, to bring to the forefront prevailing issues and burdens you are carrying surrounding the cost-of-living crisis and how this is impacting you in your independence, self-autonomy, mental health, and freedom as young adults.

Over the following 6 weeks we offer flexible themes, reflective of your needs, so we encourage you to attend weekly but if this is a barrier, please drop-in and have a chat with us.

Sharing a meal and connecting with like-minded people ,supports accessing resources and skills for a life where you can thrive, rather than survive.

Don't miss out on this valuable opportunity to learn and connect with others facing similar financial pressures.

See you there!

"Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much” – Helen Keller
