Fellowship with us on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, This Is It by Courtney Green and local entrepreneur/author Jeannette Roberson will host the second “Surviving Sisterhood Summit.” Our event will assist women with various backgrounds, stories, careers, & families. This summit will provide resources and practical activities to aid them in achieving their personal goals. Our mission is to gather women of all ages in remembrance of the strength and emPOWERment behind sticking together. We are passionate about empowering women and helping them reach their full potential. Brunch and mimosas will be served. Vendor and Sponsorship opportunities available. Meet Courtney Green. Native of Salina, Kansas who relocated to North Alabama in 2016. She is a devoted Christian, entrepreneur, single mother to a stunning little girl named Khloe, and an overall go-getter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, networking with others, working in her “Bling Boutique”, and assisting others through her gifts of writing under her business This Is It by CG. Currently, she is assisting in the launch of The Maybe Club. This is a community action program that will spark the minds of today's youth and those wanting to learn about entrepreneurship. She is also co-hosting the second annual Surviving Sisterhood Summit.

Ms. Green graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and is currently enrolled in their master’s program for Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management with a concentration in Information Systems and SAP Certification. She is an active member of APICS and holds a position as Secretary within the organization. She hopes to become a Logistics Analyst after completing her degree.

Despite many traumas in her thirty-two years of life she continues to aspire to shine light and encouragement to others even while battling Lupus. As a Domestic Violence survivor, she is zealous in encouraging others the hope of freeing themselves from their circumstances by recognizing the signs of abuse and providing resources to those in need. With her warm and charismatic spirit, she hopes to inspire and uplift others by spreading positivity.
