Surati Holi Hai is the tri-state area's most talked about and unique celebration of the Spring Festival of Colors that originated in India. It is possibly the US's and definitely the East Coast's most popular family-friendly festival with the number of attendees exceeding 12,000 from all over the United States and also from other countries. It is an all-day festival promoting peace, equality, and unity through cultural diversity, performances, food, and color play. This year will be a special partnership between two neighboring cities Jersey City and Hoboken with activities bringing the communities together.

Surati Holi Hai's motto is "When everyone is colorful, no one is different" celebrating equality and brotherhood across boundaries.

10 am - 12 noon - Color Walk for Fitness from Hoboken Pier A to Montgomery Street , Jersey City along the Hudson waterfront. The day begins with yoga, fitness, dance, etc

12 noon- 8 pm: On Montgomery Street @ Hudson Street; Live performances, Cultural and interactive workshops, Color play, Food, Drink, Vendors, Children's Zone, DJ, Open Air Dancing.

Surati for Performing Arts is a 501(c)(3) Jersey City based performing arts organization and entertainment company whose mission is to promote Indian art and culture, educate and enrich the community primarily through dance, music and drama. Rimli Roy founded the company in 2002, and continues to manage it in the capacity of Artistic Director. Surati’s blend of multicultural dance theatre inspired by Indian classical arts has not only been accepted all over the US by a diverse audience, the performances have made the organization a poster child for diversity and multi-ethnic culture of Hudson County. Surati’s performers come from all over the world - handpicked artists representing an eclectic range of disciplines and traditions. The company has toured extensively with its staged productions and shows, and performed at venues like The Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in DC, The Lincoln Center in NYC, Alaska Center for Performing Arts, Las Vegas Convention Center and Reicchold Center in St. Thomas, USVI.
