SUPRASS Workshop Day

Overview

Get hands-on with microsurgery, flaps, ear reconstruction and facial aesthetics in this surgeon-taught plastics workshop day!

Full Event Overview

Join us for an immersive Plastics, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery Skills Workshop, designed to give medical students practical exposure to core techniques used in modern plastics.

This is a premium, small-group session where participants will rotate through four interactive stations, each focused on a key area of the specialty:

  • Microsurgery Vessel Anastomosis
Practise fine suturing under surgical loupes using simulated vessels, focusing on precision and technique.
  • Flap Reconstruction & Suturing
Design, cut, and mobilise local flaps before performing structured wound closure.
  • Facial Anatomy & Aesthetic Techniques
Map key landmarks and practise injection technique using cannulas on anatomical models.
  • Ear Reconstruction
Plan and repair simulated auricular defects using realistic silicone models.

All stations are hands-on, using high-quality materials and surgical instruments, with teaching from surgeons in a supportive and relaxed environment.
