About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

Over the last 15 years we have seen a growing concern for the needs of older LGBTQ+ people. As more and more older LGBTQ+ people are aging , it is important to ensure an LGBTQ+ inclusive aging and long-term care network is ready to meet their needs. Join us for engaging webinar provided by SAGE the country's oldest and largest nonprofit supporting LGBTQ+ older adults. This webinar will provide a greater understanding of the history and needs of LGBTQ+ older adults and the services available to support your agency, including SAGECare training, the SAGE and HRC Foundation Long-term Care Equality Equality Index, and the growing network of SAGECollab Partners.

SPEAKER: Sherrill Wayland, Senior Director of Special Initiatives and Partnerships

After much deliberation, the team at MC5 have deemed it necessary to adjust our rates to keep up pace with rising costs in all of our processes. Beginning on June 1, 2024, there will be an increase in the prices of our meetings from $7.50 per CEU to $10 per CEU for Regional Meetings.

This was a tough decision to make, and we understand how it affects everyone. We thank you for your continued support and trust that these changes will help us to continue to provide you with educational opportunities for learning and growing in our field as we care for others.

As always, we welcome any questions or comments. You can email us at missourimc5@gmail.com.
