This month: Supervisor Training on Workplace Violence Prevention Plans

Leadership and administration need to be properly trained in threat assessment, critical incident response, situational awareness, and crisis de-escalation/conflict resolution. This training will outline core competency areas for those responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining an effective workplace violence prevention plan. This workshop will also review the importance of attending to issues of cultural differences, bias in assessment, developing a risk mitigation plan, and ensuring stakeholder buy-in.
