SuperStars Saturdays 2024 - Autism Society SE WI

SuperStars Saturdays (~~MORE EVENTS THIS YEAR~~)

Come join us for a mini-camp designed to teach participants the basics of theater through the integration of arts, music, movement, and hands on learning experiences. Each session will be thematic in nature and will provide participants with exposure to new learning, and time to practice and showcase their newly learned skills. This one-day drop in session for young people with Autism and other disabilities, their siblings, friends and typically developing individuals.

These mini camps will help to build skills that participants can use during our regular SuperStars Camp experience in the future too!

Ten (10) sessions are being offered for 2024. Each session has its own unique theme, and all activities will relate back to that theme.

IMPORTANT: SuperStars Saturdays will be held at the Autism Society Offices 3720 N 124th Street, Suite N, Wauwatosa, 53222.

The SuperStar Saturday times are always:
9:30-noon.

2024 days and themes are:

1. January 20 The Magical Rain Forest
2. February 17 We Can Make The World A Better Place
3. April 20 Folk Tales From Around The World
4. June 15 Summer Fun
5. July 20 Circus
6. August 17 Let's All Go To The Zoo
7. September 21 II Love My Family
8. October 19 SuperStars are Super Heroes
9. November 16 The Disney Experience
2. December 21 Sharing Our Gifts

Space is limited to 17 participants, so be sure to sign up as soon as you can so that your child can participate in this innovative learning experience.

Parents, please note that it is not necessary to remain with your child during this camp. However, if a camper requires moderate behavioral or bathrooming assistance, a parent or guardian must be present for the duration of the Super Saturday experience.
