Sunshine People invite you back to Middle Harbor Shoreline Park for our Season Opener Saturday, June 15th.

Special yoga session 2pm-3pm before the music starts hosted by MEREDITH CALVERT


We've got a great park in the Port Of Oakland with a beautiful view of the city from the south side of the Bay Bridge!

There's plenty of parking and an ample amount of space for our families to set up and get down!! Bring chairs, a canopy or some cover as it promises to be warm and sunny!!!
Be sure to bring blankets and jackets as it may get windy later on. Make sure you dress yourselves comfortably and have your dancing kicks ready! All ages welcome!

Meredith Calvert, Ph.D., RYT500

Meredith is a Registered Yoga Teacher with over 1000 hours experience teaching classes in-studio, virtually, and working 1:1 with private clients.


She provides a warm and approachable style of yoga instruction, offering an accessible experience to every body, while inviting experienced students to explore their limits safely. She teaches a gentle but challenging Vinyasa flow, with a strong emphasis on alignment and body awareness. Meredith enjoys sharing her knowledge of neurobiology with students to encourage a deeper understanding of the physiological benefits of yoga and mindfulness.

Yoga is both powerful and playful, requiring discipline yet also a willingness to release control and expectations. Meredith’s intention as a yoga teacher is to help students find the joyful flow in this balance. She also leads immersive yoga + scuba diving retreats in the Caribbean, combining daily yoga with the beautiful moving meditation that is scuba diving.
