UPDATE: Due to inclement weather in Greensboro today (March 12) we have made the difficult decision to cancel Sunshine Day 2018.


Sunshine Day 2018 is the N.C. Open Government Coalition's annual get together to discuss government transparency issues across the state. 

This year we will open with a learning session on the ins and outs of the N.C. Open Meetings Law. We also will have a luncheon and awards program, discussions on how the new police video law is working, and transparency in the legislature. 

Schedule: 

10 a.m.: Check-in and Welcome

10:10-10:40 a.m.: Success and failures in the police video law

Parking:
