Sunshine Cathedral Center for Performing Arts presents: “The Unarmed Child"

Performers from the Frost School of Music (University of Miami) and across Florida will gather to present The Unarmed Child, a song cycle for choir and instrumentalists by composer Michael Bussewitz-Quarm.

A powerful and compelling work, The Unarmed Child explores the various ways in which children are affected by gun violence, from the despair of parents losing their children, to the celebration of children’s lives, to the affect this violence has on under-represented communities.
