Queens County Farm Museum is the longest continually farmed site in New York State.The original property was farmed by the Adriance family beginning in 1697. Today, the farm serves as a vital resource connecting people to agriculture and the environment creating conversations about biodiversity, nutrition, health and wellness, climate change and preserving local history.The Queens County Farm Museum is a New York City Landmark, on the National Register of Historic Places and a member of the Historic House Trust of New York City. Queens Farm hosts a wide variety of acclaimed education programs, public events and adult education programs.

Experience the farm in a different way — learn new skills for your garden, kitchen, home & lifestyle in our Adult Education series.

Relax and unwind as we watch the sunset over the fields and breathe in the fresh air during this 60-minute outdoor asana practice with instructor Athena Levesque. This class focuses on a series of Hatha yoga movements that will provide an opportunity to slow down and tune into your body. Reconnect and recharge as you enjoy the peaceful beauty of the farm surroundings after hours. Class will end with a relaxing savasana to guide you back home feeling refreshed and stress-free. Open to all experience levels.FAST FAQ:<ul><li>Advance online tickets are required as space is limited.</li><li>This class is part of the Adult Education series at Queens Farm and is open to ages 18+.</li><li>Bring your own yoga mat and water bottle.</li><li>Classes are held outdoors on a paved patio in our pavilion.</li><li>This program may be affected by weather. She completed her 200-Hour and 300-Hour Vinyasa and Hatha training programs through Uplifted. She holds a Master’s degree in Education and has many years of teaching experience on a broad variety of subjects. Her philosophy is that anyone can do yoga, no matter their age, body, color, identity, or ability. Her mission is to make yoga accessible to all people and hopes her students walk away from her classes feeling confident, nourished, and empowered.
