Join us for a grounding Hatha practice as the sun sets over the Arts Lawn.
Attune to the Earth’s natural rhythms as the sun sets over the Arts Lawn, a peaceful green space for you to pause and align to nature’s transition from day to night, work to rest, the external to the internal.Led by certified yoga instructor Rhya Moffitt, the series continues the work of our healing narrative arc from the winter, inspired by Black feminist writers.
This summer, we'll contemplate the stories we've been told about ourselves and our communities and work through the narrative cycle, tying our physical practice with our energetic/spiritual work: RELEASE (hips), REMEMBER (backbends), RECLAIM (twists), REIMAGINE (inversions), and REBUILD (strength). The 15-week series will move through the cycle three times, though attendance at prior sessions isn't required.
