INFORMATION
This is a 2 hour walking tour that begins at 8000 Sunset Blvd and ends near the Viper Room at 8852 Sunset Blvd. THE TOUR DOES NOT END WHERE IT BEGINS! You can walk back in about 20 minutes, take a very short Uber, or use the bus to return to the meeting point.
This tour contains stories and descriptions of some of LA's most gruesome crimes. Please be aware of this before bringing young children.
This is a walking tour! We cover about 1.5 miles! Wear shoes that you are comfortable walking around in for an extended time.
We follow all health regulations and stick to CDC guidelines at this time.
FAQ
Parking? The 8000 Sunset Blvd shopping complex has a large parking lot that makes it easy to park there and meet the tour group.
Do we go in buildings? When possible, yes. However, many restaurants and hotels do not want large groups of tours coming through describing all the people that died there... which is understandable!
Will my kids like this? We do not recommend this for children under 13. Some of the descriptions of the crimes can be quite vivid and the content of the tour is really meant for a bit of an older crowd. But, if you let your teen watch the occasional R rated movie, you will be fine.
What is included? We supply the guide and the knowledge. You just show up, ready to have fun and learn about LA's terrifying history.
Is it ok to tip? Yes! Our guides work very hard to ensure that everyone is having a good time. They are a resource to you, not just for the tour, but for your whole trip! Ask them about the neighborhood, get recommendations for your trip, and make friends with a local that loves their city. A tip can be a great way to show that you appreciate they work they put in to making your time in LA the best it can possibly be.
