Join us for free live music from Violet Breeze on Wednesday, August 19th as part of our Sunset Sounds music series!

Sunset Sounds takes place at 6pm every 1st and 3rd Wednesday through September and features a rotating artist each date. Come early for our 3-6pm happy hour and enjoy ongoing drink specials during the performance from beverage sponsors Wheatley Vodka and Sazerac.

About Violet Breeze:

Violet Breeze is a musical collaboration between two longtime friends; singer, Alyssa Medina and pianist Ben Rafferty, who have shared the stage in a multitude of musical projects. The two have taken their favorite compositions and stripped away many of the components of familiarity that you may associate with these pieces to offer up the raw heart of the songs. “There’s a beauty in simplicity that’s often overshadowed in today’s music scene by massive production in tracks with dozens upon dozens of layers”.

Expect to hear unique stripped down renditions of songs ranging from country ballads from the 50s, 90s alternative, Grateful Dead deep cuts, soul, reggae, rock, blues, jazz and everything in between. “Remember, If it’s good it’s good. Genre is simply an approach to the message and the message is ultimately one of openness, kindness, love and appreciation”
