Frequently asked questions

What Should I wear?

Dress Appropriately**: The sea breeze can be cold, especially when waiting for whales. Warm, wind-resistant clothing is crucial for comfort.

Can I bring food and drinks?

You are welcome to bring light snacks. Adult beverages must be purchased onboard. Please drink responsibly.

Can I bring Children?

Children are welcome, but please remember the time and tide on the sea can be a challenge for very small children.

Where do I park?

There is plenty of free parking. On a beautiful summer day the marina can be crowded so try parking a bit of a distance and just walk the 5 to 10 mins to the boat.

What else should I bring?

Please remember to bring a camera or cellphone, binoculars, and don't forget to dress in layers!

Will we actually see whales?

Whales, dolphins and porpoises are wild animals. They come and go as they please. Our boat captain will make every effort to find marine mammals and sunset or crepuscular time is a time of day when many animals are active.
