June's show will feature:
Corky Siegel. You better believe this globally acclaimed musician, composer/arranger/singer/songwriter/pianist and master harmonica player has stories! Corky learned his craft amongst the Blues Masters. He gained fame with his band Siegel & Schwall (founded in 1964) and now with his amazing Chamber Blues. Can't say enough about this great person. I have had the honor of performing with Corky and Chamber Blues. You can see his storytelling in action by viewing the video on the landing page of his website.
Moth multi-winner and author Nestor Gomez. Nestor has performed and conducted storytelling workshops in multiple locations around the country. He also created his own storytelling series: “80 Minutes Around the World,” that features the stories of Immigrants and refugees from different parts of the world, their descendants, and allies. Toronzo Cannon. Blues sensation and Alligator recording artist Toronzo Cannon is a prolific singer/songwriter/guitarist who after a couple decades on the road as a festival headliner and CTA bus driver (retired) he’s hitting his stride as a recording and performing artist around the globe. Needless to say, he's got a few tales to tell!
