We discuss lively topics, socialize, laugh, and learn in an easy, effortless way. The atmosphere is relaxed.

No pressure, just practice!

We meet inside a cafe in downtown Manhattan (a few blocks south of Wall Street) for about two hours and enjoy English conversation together. Friends are welcome!

ABOUT THE HOST:

Tom is a native New Yorker: He grew up in Brooklyn. He has lived and traveled in Europe and Asia, and understands what it is like to learn a new language.

Tom earned a degree in English from Pace University. For more than 20 years, he has worked as a writer and editor for national magazines and websites.

Tom taught English speaking, writing, and pronunciation at NYC's well-known International Center for over six years. He owns a company that provides personalized adult ESL classes.

This is NOT a language exchange. This group is designed exclusively for foreign-born adults who are learning English in the Greater New York City area.

We are not currently accepting new native English speakers for the group. Native English speakers must get approval in advance from the organizer before joining the group or participating in any events.
