Can I come and try stand-up for the very first time?

Yes, you are very welcome! We very often have newcomers trying their first comedy set. There is no official process for how to become a comedian. Some people prefer to come first as an audience and watch. They find we are very friendly and supportive, and there is nothing to worry about.

Question 2

I am a comedian, can I just come and perform?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can come for a sign-up at 6.30 pm and have a 5-minute spot. We are starting at 7 pm and cannot guarantee you a spot if you come after that time. If you would like to have 10-minute spots, please contact us on our Instagram in advance.

Question 3

Can I bring a friend, dog, child?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the event is free to join, so tickets are not necessary. If your group is bigger at the last minute, bring them all in! The pub is dog-friendly, but be aware it is sometimes crowded. People under the age of 18 are not allowed to be in the pub after 6 pm, sorry.
