Bring snacks, plenty of water and a lunch for this trek. Hiking poles are helpful as well!

Dogs on no more than a 6 foot leash are welcome to join their owners on this hike.

Please make sure you read the description fully and are prepared for this hike length, terrain, and weather!! :)

Mileage: ~ 8.5 miles

Difficulty: Moderate - Difficult, steep / uneven terrain

Trailhead / Parking: Make the second right on Skellinger Road to enter the Lake Ocquittunk family camping area. Continue into the campground and stay straight past the restrooms. Once you go over the bridge in the campground, you will see the road continue to The School of Conservation, instead of going up that way look to your right to see parking by Flatbrook. A Naturalist will be staged ahead of time to help with any parking confusion and aid in direction.
