Amy C. Lund has been working with textiles most of her life, beginning with handspinning yarn to knitting, weaving and other aspects of the fiber arts, in history and art museums both demonstrating and in collections management. She completed a Masters in Science in Textiles and Related Art from the University of Rhode Island in 1993, eventually starting a weaving studio and gallery for teaching and creating artisan handspun yarns from sheep's wool, alpaca, cotton, linen and other fibers; hand knit and hand woven accessories including scarves, handbags and clothing; home decor table linens, blankets, rugs, tapestries; and mixed media fiber art collage assemblages. She also repairs and restores textiles.
