About this event

  • 2 hours

This is one of several spring 2024 Sunday events in the Conservation Advisory Board's multi-year project to remove invasive bushes from our village's woodlands and replace them with native species. Follow-up events will take place throughout the spring and summer months, with invitations for future events to be sent separately.

A limited number of shovels and vine lopping clippers will be available from the Conservation Advisory Board, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own shovels and vine loppers/clippers if they have them. Work gloves, long sleeves, long pants, sturdy shoes and bug spray are recommended.

The work will take place primarily along the trail which begins at the meeting point at the main entrance to the Juhring Preserve at the corner of Briary Road and Heather Way in Dobbs Ferry.
