Sun Survivors
Sun Survivors Wildlife and Solar Exploration
Sun Survivors is a fun and educational community event at Otters and Others Zoo and Conservation focused on wildlife, conservation, and the amazing adaptations animals use to survive the heat and sun. Guests can enjoy animal encounters, educational presentations, family-friendly activities, conservation learning opportunities, and interactive experiences throughout the zoo.
This event highlights desert wildlife, survival adaptations, pollinators, and the importance of protecting ecosystems and native species. Sun Survivors is designed to inspire curiosity and provide families with a memorable hands-on learning experience while supporting our rescue animals and educational programs.
We are excited to partner with Every Kid Outdoors, where guests can pick up their EKO passports during the event, encouraging children and families to explore nature and outdoor education opportunities throughout Utah. We are also partnering with Rocky Mountain Astronomy Tours, who will be bringing a solar telescope for guests to safely observe the sun and learn about astronomy and solar science.
Join us for a day of adventure, discovery, wildlife education, and outdoor exploration at the zoo!
