Four courses. Farm-grown beer pairings. Dinner in the sunflowers.

Join us for one of the most special evenings of Sunflower Fest: an intimate four-course dinner set right in the sunflower field at Dancing Grain Farm Brewery.

We’ll set a long table among the blooms as the evening light settles over the farm, then hand the kitchen over to Chef Riany Mena of Menu by Mena for a seasonal four-course dinner paired with Dancing Grain beers grown and brewed right here on the farm.

Chef Riany grew up in the Dominican Republic, where his love of vibrant, authentic flavors began. After moving to the United States, he worked his way through the culinary world, learning from accomplished chefs and building a style centered on fine dining, hospitality, and highly personalized experiences. Today, Menu by Mena brings private-chef dining throughout Upstate New York, including Saratoga Springs, Albany, the Hudson Valley, and the Catskills.

For this dinner, he’ll be creating a menu specifically for the evening and the season.

The experience begins with a welcome drink before guests settle in for dinner. Each course will be paired with a Dancing Grain beer, and throughout the evening we’ll talk a little about what’s actually in your glass — the grain we grow, the ingredients we choose, and how a crop in a Saratoga County field eventually becomes a finished beer.

This isn’t meant to feel like a beer lecture. It’s dinner on a farm, in the middle of a million sunflowers, with really good food and beer — and a chance to understand the connection between all of it.

Between courses, wander through the sunflower field, take photos, catch the sunset, or just stay at the table and enjoy one of the prettiest times of day on the farm.

And you won’t leave empty-handed. Every guest will take home a commemorative Sunflower Fest tote bag along with a vase of freshly picked sunflowers from our fields.

Rain or Shine

We’re planning for dinner among the sunflowers — because that’s really where this evening belongs.

But we also know we’re farmers, which means Mother Nature gets a vote.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, dinner will move inside our Brew Barn, where we’ll recreate the intimate communal-table experience overlooking the farm. You’ll still receive the full four-course dinner, all beer pairings, your Sunflower Fest goodies, and your vase of sunflowers as well as a ticket to come back to tour the fields.

So don’t let a questionable forecast scare you away. Dinner is happening rain or shine.
