The Silicon Valley Annual Bike Summit 2021 is being held on Aug 12 &amp; 13, 8:30am to 1:00pm. Register <a href="https://bikesiliconvalley.org/summit/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>.The Conference will be virtual, but with things opening up, we are adding some elements of meet and greet and socializing! One of the many such events is a workshop by James Rojas. Details below: James Rojas is an urban planner, community activist, educator, and artist. He developed an interdisciplinary, community healing and visioning outreach process that uses storytelling, objects, art-production and play to help empower under represented communities in urban planning process. Directly involving participants (as opposed to “audiences” or passive viewers) in re-imagining equitable growth and development in their community gives them the know-how they need to achieve their goals. He is an international expert in public engagement and has traveled around the globe.
