What will I be doing in the class?

-Besides having the most fun ever? We will show you some tips and trick, cookie facts and decorating techniques and you will be decorating you own set of 6 cookies to take home with you that day.

Can I purchase additional DIY kits if I am attending this class?

Yes! Many practicing cookiers, (thats what we call ourselves), purchase additional class kits to take home and re-do the class. Many also buy them for their children at home to have a fun activity as well. Your kit will be available at the end of class, please don't forget!

I'm not attending the class- can I still purchase a DIY kit or cookie cutters?

Yes! Check out on Eventbrite- set your class ticket to 0 and add as many DIY kits as you'd like to purchase. You will pick them up during the class.

Question 4

Do I need to know how to bake?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! We will have the cookies pre-made  for you and will send you the recipe after class. You will be able to bake your own, on your own. If you have any questions you are always welcome to email.

Question 5

What will I learn in class?

Accepted Answer

You will learn what goes into preparing the icings and the different consistencies, how to color icing and tricks to filling the piping bags. You will learn different decorating techniques such as marbling, outlining, wet-on-wet, brush embroider and more! Techniques will vary depending on the class.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing! Everything is provided for you including our delicious  sugar cookies. All you need to do is join and have fun! Messy baker? You can bring an apron. You might want some water to drink and if you wear reading glasses I would have those with you. :)

What age is best for Cookie classes?

Our classes are for almost any age from youngsters (who can sit still for two hours of instruction) to grandparents- come on in and have some fun! Our in-person classes are great for anyone over 12, kiddos under 12 will need a parent to take the class as well.

Question 8

Can just my child come to class or do I need to purchase a ticket too?

We require that all parents also purchase a ticket and attend the class with their child under 12. For your children over 12 you are welcome to drop them off and pick up 2 hours later.  You will never regret taking a cookie class though, it's super fun and you get a yummy treat!

What will I bring home?

By the end of class you will have created a set of beautiful cookies ready to dry in your box, (that we provide) over night. You can take your leftover icings as well and any other fun surprises you might have. ;) Of course, you will also have new skills and fun memories!

Can I sign up as an individual or a group?

Yes! You can sign up and come alone, with a friend or with a group. If you are coming with friends please let us know so we can get you all seated together.

Where are classes located?

This class is located at Sweet Creek Boutique in Downtown Queen Creek. The cutest little shop evah! 22225 S Ellsworth Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142

I signed up for a class but I can't make it- what do I do?

Accepted Answer

We understand life happens so that's why we allow you to cancel and get a full refund (minus eventbrite fees, they keep those) 7 days before the class. Eventbrite discontinued it credit options, so after the 7 days there are no refunds or credits offered. Bummer!

I can't make it- continued...

You can transfer your spot to a friend in the event you can't make it. `--HEADS UP- No shows don't get refunds either- so try to make it or send someone else instead, you can even arrive late. If you don't come you can pick up your set as a DIY kit within a week.

Can you teach a private class for me and my friends?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We offer private classes either at a location you provide or at Sweet Creek Boutique. We need a minimum of 10 for a private class.

Do you offer virtual classes?

We do not currently offer any virtual classes. We have done these classes in the past for corporate clients. If you are interested in one please send an email inquiry and we will let you know if we have the ability.

Do you have accessability accomodations for this event?

This event is planned to take place at Sweet Creek Studio, located on the second floor of Sweet Creek Boutique. The studio is Accessible by stairs only. If you require an accessibility accommodation, please indicate your needs during registration or contact the event organizer before purchase.
