What if the participant normally has 1:1 support?

Accepted Answer

If a participant typically needs 1:1 support in a school or other setting, it is crucial to let Beacons know, as 1:1 support will likely be needed for Club activities. The individual providing the 1:1 support to the participant can attend with an added fee of $10.

Question 2

Do people have to dress per the theme?

Accepted Answer

We encourage them to, but it is not required! The goal is for people to have fun and be comfortable. So, if someone doesn't want to wear a costume feel free to come as you are.

Question 3

I see that food is served. What if someone has an allergy?

Accepted Answer

It is VERY important to complete the registration form to alert Beacons of any allergies. All registrations are reviewed by a member of our Club team for allergies or other medical items, but please contact Club@BeaconsNorthCounty.com if you wish to learn about food and drink items being served.

Who volunteers to work Club Beacons events?

Accepted Answer

Club volunteers are typically peer volunteers from the community and service groups such as the National Charity League Surf Cities, Teen Volunteers in Action, local churches/ faith groups, and college groups. Interested in volunteering? Please get in touch with Club@BeaconsNorthCounty.com!
