About this event

Childbirth is often associated with feelings of fear and anxiety, but if we trust our bodies and gain a deeper understanding of physiologic birth, we can begin to see childbirth as a beautiful, intimate, and very natural experience. During this one-day workshop, expectant parents will explore:

  • The four stages of labor
  • Fetal positioning & its effects on labor progress
  • Hands-on relaxation techniques to decrease discomfort
  • Common medical procedures including induction, augmentation, & epidural anesthesia
  • The essentials of postpartum care

After taking this course, you will feel more confident, empowered & prepared for the birth you desire.

We recommended that new parents also take Baby Care Boot Camp Series, Introduction to Breastfeeding & the Afterglow-a Pre-Postpartum Workshop.
