Summer Wellness Program 2026

There are six public schools in the Upper St. Clair School District. Three are K-4 elementary schools - Baker Elementary School, Eisenhower Elementary School and Streams Elementary School; two are middle schools - Boyce Middle School (5-6) and Fort Couch Middle School (7-8); and one is a high school, Upper St. Clair High School (9-12). Eighty-two percent of students who graduate from Upper St. Clair High School go on to further their education at a college, university or junior college. The district's professional staff is comprised of nearly 300 educators, 79 percent of whom hold a master's degree or above, and a support staff of nearly 200 including custodians, nutrition center workers, aides, secretaries, maintenance and transportation personnel. There is great pride in the district for the many academic, artistic and athletic accomplishments. Our students consistently score at the proficient level or above on the various required Pennsylvania State System of Assessment and Keystone exams. Our students in the band, chorus, orchestra and dramatics are regularly honored throughout the area, and district athletic teams participate annually in championship playoff games at the district and state levels.

This course is for rising Sophomores who must finish the wellness education requirement over the summer due to 2026-27 scheduling conflicts.

Upper St. Clair High School

No class enrollment verifications will be mailed; please use your email confirmation as proof of registration.

Students will receive a Canvas Course link for REMOTE Summer  Wellness prior to June 14. Students will need to accept this course. Beginning June 14 all students will log each day to receive daily lessons and assignments.

Course Description: This course is intended for rising Sophomores who must finish next year's wellness education requirement over the summer due to scheduling constraints in the 2026-2027 school year. The Summer Wellness Program 2026 is a hybrid concept with in-person wellness classes and virtual health learning components. This course will follow the content taught in person over the school year. Date(s): June 9, 2026 - July 28, 2026 Location: Upper St. Clair High School Grades: For Rising 10th Grade Students Sophomore Requirements (10th Grade)• Must complete 36 hours of in-person wellness classes between June 9 and July 28.• Must complete 12 hours of online asynchronous wellness classes between June 9 and July 28.• We request students refrain from engaging in more than two fitness hours for the health and well-being of the student, no more than 10 days, doubling up hours. This allows for potential summer travel.
